they're changing the voting system sometime this year so we'll find out what happnes soon. (:
On art and music submissions yes. For the flash portal no. My reasoning for that is for those who like to deposit with gaining B/P. It would make it a lot more troublesome to find new submissions to vote because of a few crybabys.
that's an understandable point. BUT, that would encourage users to find new submissions, and spread the view count across the site, making it easier for unkown artists to be heard.

^ Fo shizzle. There are over half a million Flashes here! Hmm, maybe not that many... some are just graveyard markers for what would have been Flashes, had they not been poorly made, stolen or otherwise crappy. Besides the B/P stat-whore thing's gotta have limit somewhere.
For sure! I think everyone should branch out and try to discover new artists.
Not just with newgrounds but with everything. Everyone seems to be content with what's shoved in their face ex. Katy Perry, Enimem etc. When there's so much better stuff out there. :/
